The opening times over the Christmas period have now been decided as follows. Friday 24th (Christmas Eve) - Open 8.00am to 1.30pm. Tuesday 28th (Bank Holiday) - Shut. Friday 31st (New Years Eve) - Open 8.00am to 1.30pm. |
I am also pleased to say that Bideford Round Table has agreed to visit the Market on December 18th with their Christmas Float. They will be making their own collection on the day so please give them your support in the hope that this could become a regular feature for the Market. |

The BBC are looking for Market Traders to take part in their Test The Nation Quiz in December. The programme promises to be "a celebrity packed, fun-filled evening" and maybe a bit of free publicity as a bonus. Full details and contact information are posted on the notice-board. |

Once again I have to point out that there is an excessive amount of waste being left on butchers Row. Again I will point out that shop leases do not include any provision for collection of waste. The bin on Butchers' Row is there primarily for the use of the public. All tenants should make arrangements for the removal of any large amounts of waste. We have always been happy to clear small amounts of waste but we have to pay for waste removal and will have to pass this cost on if the situation is abused. |

Martin and myself hope to decorate the Market Hall on Thursday 18th December and Butchers Row on Friday 19th December. I am sure you realise the scale of this task and therefore any help would be appreciated. For example, if we have two people to stand on the bottom of ladders it will halve the time taken. Please let us know if you can help. |
