Yet again I have to raise this familiar issue. Market Hall hours are from 8am to 3pm and this is not being adhered to. We are approaching peak Summer times and if visitors find stalls covered and unattended during advertised opening hours it only serves to harm our reputation as an attraction. Word of mouth is a very powerful form of communication and negative reactions can harm a business as easily as positive comments can promote it Similarly the 30 hour rule for Butchers' Row and Market Place is there to encourage trade for all traders. Please can we all work together for the good of the Market as a whole |
Please can I remind all Butchers' Row Traders that it is the responsibility of the last one out each day to ensure that all the gates are securely locked |

It has been suggested at Committee that we review our regular advert in the Bideford Page of the Journal with a view to include traders and local businesses. If anyone is interested in following up this option please let me know. |
The water festival will be taking place again this year on Sunday 29th April. Once again the main features will be stalls and attractions in Victoria Park and Dragon boat racing on the Torridge. If anyone would like further information please ask. |
