During our recent annual inspection our electrician brought to my attention that many devices plugged in by traders are not electrically tested and therefore must not be left plugged in out of trading hours. Please ensure that this advice is followed as any equipment which may be found to have caused a fire may result in liability to the trader concerned. The electrician also advised that any electrical items used by traders or shop keepers should be regularly tested by a suitably qualified electrician to avoid liability in the event of an accident. |
Please be aware that from 3rd April the trading hours in the Market Hall return to 8.00am to 3.00pm. Also from 1st April the new rents will be in force, this will mean an increase of £1 per table (ie 1 table = £29.00, 2 tables = £57.00 etc.) |

We are investigating the possibility of utilising Sandwich Board Advertising. Would anyone who would be interested in taking on this job please let us know. |
You may have noticed an increase in pigeons in the market again. May I repeat my advice from last year: These creatures must not be encouraged with food or we will have to take steps to cull them. |

Please could any traders needing access to the Market Hall on the Easter bank holidays please let me know. I will definitely be opening on Good Friday however I hope to keep opening times to a minimum. |
