Thefts
It is disappointing to learn that there have been a few items go missing from various stalls recently. It is unfortunate that we cannot trust our fellow citizens but it is becoming an increasingly evident fact of life. I must remind stallholders to be continually vigilant in this and not to leave valuables at risk.
Although we take all due precautions to keep the market secure please remember that it is impossible to keep an eye on everything and remember that anything left in the market is left entirely at your own risk.

Loose Items Around Stalls
It has been brought to my attention that some stalls have an increasing amount of goods encroaching on the access routes. Please bear in mind that access must be clear at all times, any injuries which may occur to members of the public caused by stock in the aisles would be the liability of the trader responsible and could result in a compensation claim.

Music - Butchers' Row
I have received complaints about the level of music being played on Butchers' Row. Please remember that music should be kept at a sensible level. Failure to do so will be in breach of clause 2(13) of the lease agreement and if I receive further complaints I will have to pursue this further.
We all enjoy a little music but please do not inflict yours on others.

Opening Times
A reminder for any of you who are not aware. We have now returned to normal opening hours i.e. 8am to 3pm. Please will all traders make every effort to comply with these hours.

 Rubbish
Refuse is once more becoming unmanageable, particularly from Butchers' Row. Cardboard should be flat packed and placed in the skip. The Market has to pay for Commercial Waste Removal therefore any increased volume would incur costs that would be reflected in any future rent assessments so please try to keep rubbish to a minimum.

 Archery
The current run of use by the archery club will end on 17th April.
The market will be open on Good Friday for 2 hours from 10-12am for those who need to reset their stalls.

 Diary Dates:
Sunday 3rd May - Boxing
