Work can be seen and purchased every market day throughout the
year. David paints pictures and makes pots and small ceramic
sculptures. A wide range of work always on display with prices
to suit all pockets. Local views and buildings painted on commission
as well as scenic views from sketches made whilst exploring the
constantly changing aspects of this inspiring coastal and rural
area.
Distinctive vases taking inspiration from work of various ethnic
origins, but in a highly original style. Work often being made
in the market for firing in the studio at East-the-Water. All
the ceramics are made by hand; the clay and glazes are unique
to David.
A full time painter and potter since the 1980's David now markets
his work solely from Devon having been known originally as an
East Anglian and London Potter whose work has been collected
both nationally and internationally.
